An Important Update from Amman Valley Computer Services Image

This is not a decision I have made quickly or easily, but with immediate effect, Amman Valley Computer Services is closing its computer, tablet, phone, and games console repair service. I want to take the time to explain why — and what this means for you.

Why Are We Stopping Repairs?

Over the past year or so, the repair industry has faced some significant and ongoing challenges. The cost of parts — screens, batteries, charging ports, motherboards — has risen sharply, and the supply chain for these components has become increasingly unreliable. What used to take a few days to source can now take weeks, and in some cases, parts simply aren't available at all.

For a business built on providing a fast, quality, and affordable repair service, this is a fundamental problem. I've never wanted to charge you more than necessary, and I've never been willing to compromise on the quality of the work carried out. Sadly, the current environment makes it increasingly difficult to uphold both of those commitments at the same time.

Rather than pass on rising costs or ask you to wait longer than you should, I've made the decision to close this part of the business entirely. You deserve better than a service that can't reliably meet your expectations — and I'm not willing to offer anything less.

What Happens If Your Device Is Already With Us?

If your device is currently in for repair, or you have a repair booked in, please don't worry. I will complete whatever work I am able to and return all devices by Saturday, 7th March. You will be contacted directly with an update on your device.

What About My Warranty?

If you've previously had a repair completed by Amman Valley Computer Services, your 6-month warranty on workmanship remains fully in place. Closing the repair service does not affect that commitment. If you have a warranty query, please get in touch and I'll make sure it's handled properly.

So, What's Next for AVCS?

While repair work has always been a part of what we do, the truth is that our greatest strengths — and the work that has kept us busiest — lie in a very different direction. Web and software development, online marketing, and AI integration for small and local businesses are areas where we've been excelling and growing, and it's where the future of this business lies.

With that in mind, we are rebranding. Amman Valley Computer Services will be evolving into AVCS Digital — a focused digital agency dedicated to helping local businesses build a stronger online presence, develop software solutions, and take advantage of the exciting opportunities that AI now offers.

More details about AVCS Digital and the full range of services we'll be offering will be shared very soon. I'm genuinely excited about what's coming, and I hope you will be too.

Thank You

I want to take a moment to say a genuine thank you. Whether you've trusted me with a repair, passed on a recommendation to a friend or neighbour, or simply followed along on social media — every bit of that support has meant a great deal and has helped build something I'm really proud of.

This isn't the end — it's a new chapter. And I'm looking forward to continuing to serve the community, just in a new and exciting way.
